Cataracts in Aging Adults

Falling is one of the top problems with older adults.  If there are injuries when they fall, the recovery can be difficult.  This is why fall prevention is very important in aging adults!  When someone falls, one of the first things to be done is to check for a vision issue.  Problems with cataracts and other vision difficulties are a major cause for concern as we age.

February is AMD/Low Vision Awareness Month

Make sure you encourage your parents to go, or take them in yourself this month to get their vision checked!
